We originally met at the Elephant Bar in Citrus Heights, where Christian was working. A large group of my friends were celebrating a birthday and Christian happened to be our server. He stopped at the table more times than was necessary and then came to sit with us after his shift was over. (He was always a flirt) We ran into eachother a few times after that at the Westhouse in Roseville, where Christian tried unsuccessfully to hit on me. There is nothing I dislike more than being hit on at a bar. In any case, in 2005, My best friend (and maid of honor) Christine and I were at Elephant Bar (yes...it was our second home for a while) having a drink, and Christian waltzed over and pushed himself in between us and stood there grinning. I looked at him, slightly bewildered, and said, "Can I help you?!" Christian said, "I just wanted to come and introduce myself...My name is Christian." I laughed and added, "We've already met." and turned away. Christian didn't recall having met and kept talking. While initially annoyed by his presence, I started to soften at his persistence. He invited Christine and Me to join him and his friends for a drink at their table. This is where the connection happened. His friends were idiots, and this made Christian look like a great catch! ha ha ha... In any case, we exchanged numbers and have been pretty much inseperable since!
